Shanti-Som Wellness Retreat facilities and services are immaculately maintained to ensure guests can experience utter peace of mind. It is our attention to detail that stands us apart in ensuring guests feel completely at ease to enjoy their perfect holiday.

Our state of the art facilities include an outdoor heated pool, spa, sauna, Turkish steam bath and gym facilities. Onsite specialists in Yoga and Pilates provide inspiring daily classes and we also have personal training, meditation, personal guidance/coaching and nutritional guidance. As we are located in a National Park you can also enjoy hiking or simply indulge in one of our many spa treatments. 

Whilst everyone is different, from dietary requirements to physical fitness levels and emotional health, we have one universal goal- to help develop a positive mindset by equipping guests with sustainable habits that can be incorporated into everyday life with ease.

FAQ

Yoga is the most popular activity, with some guests joining 2 sessions a day. We have an indoor studio and outdoor pavilion and our teachers offer a variety of practices including Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. Group classes are limited in size to ensure each participant gets personalised attention and reinforcement both on and off the Yoga mat.

Yes, our wellness retreat facilities and services are also available for local residents who would like to attend our classes, indulge in a treatment, dine or use the facilities for team meetings or engagements.

We offer Half Day and Full Day Retreats for those who would like to participate in a light program with movement, meditation and food.

Depending on the type of Retreat you have chosen, a personalised trainer will be assigned to understand your body and help you achieve your fitness goals. This team of experts know everything that goes into a complete program including nutrition, cardio, weight training and flexibility training.

Our expert trainers will:

  • Figure out the right activities: You might not even know what exercise would work for your body, schedule or available equipment. A trainer can suggest activities that fit all of those areas.
  • Maximize your efficiency: A trainer can help you get the most out of your workout while also making sure you don’t overdo it.
  • Put together a reasonable program: A trainer can guide you as you start working out and help you figure how much exercise you can handle in the beginning and how to fit it into your lifestyle.
  • Teach you about balanced healthy eating: A nutritional coach will provide you with the knowledge on how to eat a balanced diet without sacrificing on taste or having to spend hours in the kitchen preparing.

At Shanti-Som we have one main restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We enjoy making our guests feel at home and our restaurant is the perfect escape from the busy activities of the Marbella coast. Imagine settling down in our alfresco dining space for a delicious detox juice and healthy breakfast after a rejuvenating Yoga or Pilates class.

The restaurant has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for our guests to come and go as they please and enjoy a calm oasis for gatherings both big or small. There is enough space to find a private reading nook or to gather friends and families together for a special occasion.

Our cuisine is a fusion of Asian / Middle East, and we aim to create healthy flavour some dishes. Vegetarian, vegan and special dietary needs can be provided for in advance.

Yes, we serve alcohol on the premises however our selection is limited as our focus is on juices and teas.

Yes, we have an open air car park on site which is free of charge and no reservation is required.

We would be happy to arrange airport transfers at an additional charge of 80 Euros one way. Please contact us to prior to your arrival to confirm your request.

Check in commences from 15.00 hours and last check out is 12.00 hours. If you would like to have a late check out please contact reception. A charge of 50% of the room may be applied, and this is subject to availability. Our front desk operates 24 hours a day.

Free WiFi is available throughout the premises We encourage our guests to disconnect from the world so although internet is available please keep loud phone conversations and videos to a minimum.
