Shanti-Som Wellbeing Retreat Terms and Conditions

At Shanti-Som, our Retreats Programs are thoughtfully crafted by our team and are often customized to meet your specific needs. They typically incorporate at least one of the following components: a) accommodation, b) natural therapies, c) physical activities, d) additional services that play a significant role in enhancing your overall experience.

For Retreats that involve active or potentially dangerous activities, it is the participant’s responsibility to follow the provided guidelines. Any injuries resulting from your own negligence or the actions of fellow participants are your own responsibility, and no compensation will be provided.

Shanti-Som Wellbeing Retreat retains the right to refuse any booking for its retreats, courses, or programs, whether for an individual or a group. To learn more about our terms and conditions, please continue reading.

Prices

All prices are per person in euros unless specifically stated otherwise on a Shanti-Som Wellbeing Retreat quotation, invoice or receipt. Unless otherwise stated, all prices quoted include taxes. The services sold are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice.

Bookings

Submitting an inquiry form does not confirm your booking. To ensure that we can meet your requirements and check availability, please contact us via phone or email first. While provisional bookings can be made over the phone, the formal confirmation of your booking will only be provided by us in written form, either by letter or email.

All quotations provided by Shanti-Som Wellbeing are subject to our Terms & Conditions. When you make a booking with us, whether through phone, email, or in writing, you and all members of your group are considered to have accepted our standard terms and conditions. In the case of group bookings (2 persons or more), the person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all members of the group are aware of these conditions.

Accurate details for each group member are essential. If you fail to submit a digitally signed copy of your booking form but provide a deposit or full payment, we will assume that you agree to all of Shanti-Som Wellbeing’s standard terms and conditions.

Booking & Cancellation Policy:

Payments:

  • At the time of booking, the entire payment will be collected for all reservations.

  • Please note your booking will only be finalized upon receipt of payment. We will hold your Retreat booking for a period of 3 days.

Cancellations, Changes & Refunds:

  • Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival: 100% of the deposit will be refunded.

  • Cancellations made 15 days prior to arrival: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

  • Cancellation made less than 15 days prior to arrival or no-show: no refund.

  • Cancellation of non-refundable reservations: no refund.

  • Changes to Retreat bookings are permitted up to 15 days prior to arrival.

  • Guests are allowed a maximum of 1 change per booking, which must occur within a 6 month window from the original reservation date (subject to availability and price changes).

Contract agreement

A contract will exist once we have received the stated payment from you or your group and we have issued a confirmation invoice. Please check our confirmation invoice carefully and advise us of any inaccuracies within 3 days of receipt. We regret we cannot accept liability if we are not notified within this period. In order to book a Retreat with us we require a full payment. Please note that we retain the right to vary this amount as we see appropriate. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion. In case of Venue Hire we shall hold your deposit payable towards the full cost of the Retreat or Programme. The full cost of the Course, Retreat or Programme is payable fully in order to have full confirmation of the booking.

Personal or Third Party Liability

Shanti-Som Wellbeing Retreat holds no responsibility for any actions, oversights, or failures, whether negligent or otherwise, of airlines, car rental companies, ferry operators, hotels, tour providers, or any other suppliers. We shall not be held accountable for any losses or damages resulting from the negligence, actions, or omissions of any supplier or other third party. We retain the right to cancel or adjust itineraries or reservations when circumstances necessitate such changes.

In cases where Shanti-Som Wellbeing Retreat’s liability cannot be excluded, our liability is restricted to the value of the purchased Course, Retreat, or Clinic. All daytime and nighttime activities, sports, and transportation organized for you by Shanti-Som Wellbeing Retreat are undertaken at your own risk, and we assume no responsibility or liability for any illness, personal injury, or loss of life affecting you or any fellow participant.

If you arrive late for transfers, you will be responsible for covering any additional costs. We do not bear responsibility for you missing any transportation such as missed meals, accommodation or activities.

Special requests

Where special requests for room allocation, diet considerations etc. are required, Shanti-Som Wellbeing must be aware of them in writing at the time of booking. While we will do our best to accommodate these requests, we cannot guarantee their fulfillment. Please note that Shanti-Som Wellbeing will not be responsible for any claims for subsequent losses if written information regarding special needs and requirements is not provided at the time of booking.
